By day I bend the universe to my will. 
No, I’m not a wizard (I wish!)—I’m a chemist. I am also the Managing Member at Luna Risen LLC, a source of Art, Apparel, and Inspiration – and publisher of The Lightness of Dust. I have a bit of a stubborn streak as I’ve spent the past five or six years trying to teach myself Latin (without much success, regretfully).
A Little About Your Writing……….
The inspiration for The Lightness of Dust was the idea that gods have hopes, dreams, and regrets just as we do. The project floundered for a while because I started writing it in grad school (not the best time for extracurricular activities, by the way).
What Inspired You To Start Writing?
Writing has always been something that I wanted to do but it took many years to work up the nerve to sit down, write, and publish.
How Has Writing Changed Your Life?
Writing is the primary cause of my lack of sleep. I work a full-time job during the day and want to spend time with my wife and son in the evening, so writing and managing Luna Risen are forced into the late hours of the night.
What Is Your Favourite Book, Ever?
Something Wicked This Way Comes by Bradbury. That book is a masterpiece of condensing the lives of two generations into a matter of days.
What Is The Best Piece Of Writing Advice You Could Give, And Why?
Re-writing and editing are important, but keep in mind that a book is never finished. But it has to be published.
